Faith

Have faith in yourself in everything that you do. If you have a more positive attitude toward things your more likely to live a better life. Try not and let yourself get too angry about things because trust me, it's not worth it. Have faith in yourself and faith in God. His promise is forever.

Being active increases your matabolism rate. Your are more likely to be in better shape if your busy and moving around. If you stop and don't do much, your metabolism rate will decrease. Keep yourslef busy and move around a bit. Remember that it's always better for your health to be off the couch then on it.

Tips

Try and find time for yourself if you don't get that much. It's always great to have alone time. You get to ponder a lot and just think about everything going on in your life. You can decide on things that you need to change or things that you like and keep the same. Being alone with your thoughts is healthy and lets you have a relaxed time. Try and find something to do like maybe get in a jaccuzi or walk somewhere you love to be. It's really imortant to make sure you get a chance to do things you like. Remember that it's never a bad idea to ask for help from the Man above. God is always there.

Motivation

One key to losing weight is motivation. You might need something to gain from the hard time of losing weight. Even though losing weight might be enough motivation for some, others need the extra push to get to their goal. I suggest have a competition with someone or other people. Whoever loses the most weight wins something? That really helps the situation and people are more likely to lose weight that way. It also helps because your are not the only one trying to lose weight so there is that extra push. People love winning! If you can't find anyone willing, then just make a goal for yourself and if you reach that goal give yourself a prize. Spoil yourself every once in a while.

Enjoy this weather while its here and go outside. The more you are outdoors, the more active you are. Sitting down on the couch for hours if very bad for you in so many ways. It can cause you to have back problems, digestive tract issues and other bodily problems like gaining weight. Be active and do anything outside! Remember walking is always a great option.

Drinking Water is one the most important things we can do to ourselves. Our body really needs water.Sometimes we confuse being thirsty with hunger. Having water with you is never a bad idea. There are so many people that are out there who think they are satisfied in their thist but the fact is most people are dehydrated. You need at LEAST eight glasses of water a day. Reason to drink water are that it gives you healthy skin, flushes down toxins, helps you get well, burns more fat and helps build muscle, helps regulate your body temperature, reduces risk of heart attack, helps your joints and muscles by adding cushion/lubing, get energized/ alert and reduces your risk of disease and infection. Water is important.

Food Tips

Sometimes its really hard to eat healthy. It is also really expensive. You can always find something to eat anywhere. Bread is a big factor in weight gain. You can always reduce the amount of bread you eat in a day. I personally enjoy protein style burgers (burgers wrapped with lettuce instead of bread). Another healthy choice is turkey burgers, sandwiches or even turkey dogs. Turkey has less fat than most meats out there. Always remember that fruits and vegetables are great substitutes for side meals. Not to mention they are great for your body. Water is the best choice in choices of drinks. Adding lemon to water is a great alternative. Sugar free drinks like crystal light, lipton ice tea are also good choices. I wouldn't recommend sugar free sodas because of the high sodium.

You may start off by walking and slowly speed your pase everytime your run. Walking is an awesome way to start and get your body ready for running. Walking is also a great cardiovascular workout.
